President Uhuru Kenyatta will be attending the 4th Annual Devolution Conference.
State House Spokesman, Manoah Esipisu confirmed that Uhuru will be heading to Nakuru County to officiate the Conference.
“The president will head to Nakuru County to preside over the annual devolution conference and this is always an opportunity to take stock and review progress thus far in implementing devolution,” Esipisu stated.
Manoah reiterated that the Jubilee government is fully devoted in supporting devolution.
“This administration is totally committed to the devolution project and has shown this in terms of how it has supported devolution, devolving functions well on schedule,” he added.
The four-day conference which kicks off March 7-9, 2017, will see more than 6,000 participants drawn from both locally and internationally attend it.
This will be the final session before the country heads to the General election this year.
