President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to retain most of his current Cabinet Secretaries even as speculators anticipate massive sackings.
According to the president's confidant David Murathe, the president does not have any need to send the team home as he is satisfied with the performance they recorded in the first term.
Speaking on Monday, the Jubilee vice chairperson said poll losers eyeing these jobs will have to wait longer as similar names are set to be mentioned again in the 'new' appointments.
“Most of the CSs have performed and I can tell you that the President will not be making major changes in the Cabinet. He will not just replace CSs for the sake of doing it,” he said.
In his New Year message, the president promised to name his cabinet 'soon' but did not disclose the dates.
His delay amid pressure from supporters could be testimony to Murathe's word expressing his satisfaction.
