When sworn in as President, Uhuru Kenyatta could be forced to sacrifice a few faces in his current cabinet for a number of election losers.
Although it is still early to deduce the next move by opposition NASA, chances are that Jubilee will constitute the next government with or without concession by the opposition.
On Friday, electoral body IEBC pronounced Kenyatta as the genuine winner of the elections having scored at least 54 percent of votes cast.
Currently, Uhuru has two more slots in line with the constitution which allows a maximum of 22 people but may be forced to tilt his equation to meet demands of his foot soldiers.
Among those who may be recalled to cabinet include former PS Kenneth Lusaka, who lost his governorship post in Bungoma.
Former Budalang’i MP and Cabinet Minister Ababu Namwamba could also be on his way to government given their respective contribution towards Jubilee’s gain in Western Kenya.
Gideon Mung’aro of Kilifi who lost his governorship bid is also at pole position to be appointed to government following his input for Jubilee party in coastal region.
