President Uhuru Kenyatta has exuded confidence of winning the race to State House during the repeat presidential poll due next month.
Speaking when he took his re-election campaigns to Uasin Gishu County on Thursday, Uhuru reiterated that his victory was taken away and called on his supporters to turn out in large numbers and vote for him again.
"I want you to come out in large numbers on October 17 in vengeance to confirm your supreme will was subverted on August 8," Uhuru said addressing his supporters in Eldoret town.
The Jubilee Party candidate also hit out at the National Super Alliance (NASA) for allegedly seeking to take power through the back door.
"They are very fired to frustrate efforts to hold a fresh election. Their mission is to put bottlenecks so Kenyans can't choose their preferred government," he said.
He added: "We are telling them there is no 'nusu-mkate' for them. Kenyans have rejected them."
President Kenyatta will face off NASA's Raila Odinga in a fresh poll ordered by the Supreme Court last week.
