They have been behind bars for over two years for allegedly defrauding the South Sudanese government.
It took the intervention of the President Uhuru Kenyatta to get them back home.
Media reports indicate that the Kenyan president had talks with his South Sudanese counterpart on the issue.
When they arrived in the country yesterday in the company of Kenyan and South Sudanese government officials, the four Kenyans were kept away from the cameras.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is widely expected to unveil the four today and publicly thank President Kiir for their release.
He will also hail the strong diplomatic relations between the country.
When the news of their conviction two years ago, the Jubilee government was accused of allowing Kenyan citizens to suffer in a foreign country.
