President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to visit Narok and Wajir counties as part of his countrywide tours focused on development.

Today, the President will be in Narok County where he will start his visit by commissioning specialised medical equipment at Trans-Mara West Sub County Hospital and thereafter open the Kilgoris Town main market before addressing residents.

The President will also lay the foundation stone for Dikkir Level 4 Hospital.

In the afternoon, President Kenyatta will commission the Narok Town Water Supply as well as medical equipment for Narok Sub County Hospital. The President will wind up his visit by launching the tarmacking of the Narok-Sekenani Gate road and addressing a public rally at Narok Stadium.

On Saturday, President Kenyatta will visit Wajir where he will inspect development projects and also speak with residents on the Government’s development agenda.

Since coming into office four years ago, President Kenyatta has spearheaded an aggressive drive to build and upgrade roads, increase access to electricity, modernise health services and light up towns for better security and business.

The President has also driven an initiative to introduce primary school students to digital learning even though politicians and court injunctions delayed the plan.

The President’s visits to the counties is part of his tours to meet Kenyans in all corners of the country and speak with them on how Jubilee has addressed the country’s development challenges.
