President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to visit victims of floods after a dam burst in Solai, Nakuru.
The dam burst and swept away nearby villages leading to the death of up to 46 people and massive destruction of property.
The President is expected to among worshippers during an interdenominational prayer for the victims to be held on Wednesday May 16.
The government has promised to support the victims and have already set up a pay bill number for Kenyans to donate.
On Monday, the senate committee on security visited the area and advised the government to close down the victims camp at Solai secondary school expressing fears of diseases outbreak.
