President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto have taken the Jubilee reelection campaigns to the coastal county of Lamu in a bid to popularise Uhuru's candidature in the region.

While at Kizingitini in Lamu on Monday, President Uhuru Kenyatta issued 1,100 title deeds to the locals. He also promised Sh3 million to aid the expansion of Kizingitini Secondary School.

President Kenyatta has enumerated his administration's success in water, health and electricity supply in Lamu.

President Kenyatta and Mr Ruto said the opposition including former Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka have nothing to show for the years they were in power but they were just keen to heap propaganda on their development record.
