President Uhuru Kenyatta has been urged to attend the 4th graduation of Kisii university students that set on Friday December 16, 2016.
Speaking on Monday at Gusii stadium, Kisii university students leader Seth Anunda said is better for the head of state to attend the ceremony so that he is conversant with challenges the institution is going through.
“We are calling upon our president to attend Kisii university graduation on Friday this week to know more about the university and the challenges we are going through," said Anunda.
“Our institution has no good administration block, ICT building is stalled and many more. we anticipate that he will come and see for himself," he added.
He also urged education cabinet secretary Dr.Fred Matiang’i to attend the ceremony amidst his order to order a closure of at least five satellite campuses of the institution.
