[Photo/Courtesy]President Uhuru Kenyatta has strongly defended his victory in the recently concluded August 8 elections.His opponent, the National Super Alliance (Nasa) protested the president's win saying the elections were shambolic.Through a petition he filed at the Supreme Court, Raila alleged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) servers were hacked in order to favour Uhuru.However, appearing before a six-judge-bench led by Chief Justice David Maraga onTuesday, Uhuru through his lawyer Fred Ngatia dismissed Raila's allegations.Ngatia insisted that Uhuru won fairly. He noted that the International observers gave a clean bill of health to the electoral process.The lawyer further played a video clip of one of the observers, former US Secretary of State John Kerry, to show how transparent the polls were.In the clip, Kerry during a past interview in one if the international TV stations aid Kenya's election was conducted in free and fair manner. He urged parties opposing the election to use legal means of expressing themselves.
