Mong’are who had indicated of a possible shift to Jubilee from Ford Kenya, believes that the region might again prefer Cord leader Raila Odinga to the President if he continues to work with ‘unpopular’ agents.

In a Nyamira WhatsApp group, Mong’are wondered why Uhuru has allegedly ignored Gusii leaders who were willing to work with him and instead reverted to using of ‘juniors’ in his campaigns.

“President Kenyatta is never willing to work with intelligence from the ground. He is busy using Fred Matiang’i(Education CS) and Charles Nyachae (former CIC chair) who are basically toddlers in Gusii politics who someone cannot trust,” he said.

“They are unpopular on the ground and I have severally tried to caution the President but in vain. He will yet again lose in Nyamira and Gusii regions if he doesn’t heed to my calls. We need people who have been in the political arena to deliver votes for him,” he said.

Matiang’i and Nyachae have been in the forefront championing the re-election of the Jubilee government and the two were booed on Friday by angry residents during a prize-giving ceremony at Sironga Girls High Scool in Nyamira County over claims of sabotaging development and misadvising the President.
