President Kenyatta’s trip to Nakuru County has impacted a positive effect on the county’s economic undertaking and will thereby transform many lives, Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has said.

The Nakuru county boss on Friday said that great strides were achieved in developing the county in the last two days when President Kenyatta visited the county.

“Great strides have been achieved in those two days and I must say what we have witnessed will definitely go a long way in transforming the lives of the people of Nakuru in very many ways,” he said.

He further thanked the national government for working together with the county government in implementation of different life changing projects.

“My regards goes out to cohesiveness between the national government and county government of Nakuru in how they have worked together in implementing different projects which will surely transform Nakuru beyond our expectations,” said the governor.

During the two-day tour, Kenyatta launched the construction of the Nakuru Interchange along (A104) road at Nyahururu turnoff-Njoro turnoff and Mau Summit Junction.

He also commissioned multi-million Managed Equipment Service (MES) project at the Nakuru Level Five Hospital and commissioned construction of Molo- Olenguruone- Kibunja in Molo sub-county.
