President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to tour Meru county today Friday.
The president is expected top meet meet all the elected and nominated MPs and MCAs in the county as well as losers at Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri county to sharpen their campaigns ahead of the October 17 repeat poll.
After reading the invitation at the County Assembly Thursday evening, Speaker Joseph Kaberia said that anyone who will arrive at the venue later than 8am will not be allowed entry.
"It has come to the attention of this House that all are invited to attend the meeting at Sagana State Lodge. Those who did not get official text please communicate. It will start at 8am not at 10am as earlier communicated," Kaberia told the MCAs.
The President is seeking to consolidate registered voters in Meru, where NASA's Raila Odinga was making inroads ahead of the August 8 poll.
