According to the official Twitter account of the president, Uhuru said he visited the retired president, however details of what they talked about was not revealed.
''(I) paid a courtesy call on former president Daniel arap Moi at his Kabarnet Gadens Residence in Nairobi,'' read one of the twitt.
Last month, Uhuru's mother, Mama Ngina Kenyatta, also paid a courtesy call to Moi, at his home in Kabarak, Nakuru.
Though no official details of their meeting was unveiled, the former First Lady said she paid the visit because they were friends.
Kenyatta’s visit to Moi’s home, sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans with some saying it is a technique to try and woo Kanu to support Jubilee in the coming elections.
Kanu is headed by Moi’s son, Gideon Moi, who in the past has criticised Jubilee leadership.
