President Uhuru Kenyatta has made the clearest indication that Jubilee will impeach NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga if he wins the presidential race which is slated for October 17.
Speaking when he met a section of Ukambani leaders who have thrown their weight behind him ahead of the next month's contest, Uhuru whose win in the August 8 contest was nullified by the Supreme Court, said that they have numbers in both houses of Parliament and that they will immediately impeach Raila if elected.
"Even if he (Raila) is elected, we will impeach him within two three months," said Uhuru in State House meeting held on Monday.
While hailing Ukambani leaders of joining Jubilee, the President said that he is keen to unite the country even as he accused NASA of playing tribal politics which he said has hindered efforts to bring unity in the nation.
The Ukambani delegate is led by former Kitui Senator David Musila who lost in his gubernatorial bid.
