President Uhuru Kenyatta credits his performance to ‘tireless’ campaigns across the country and solid support in opposition strongholds.
Uhuru was declared the winner of August 8 elections by IEBC but will know his fate on Friday when Supreme Court makes a ruling following petition by his challenger Raila Odinga.
At State House on Wednesday, Uhuru also dedicated his victory to God, who he says guided his team to the convincing victory.
“For those who doubt, just look how the country is painted red. We worked hard as a team because we knew the tough task that was ahead of us.
“When I was at Nakuru during the last day of campaigns, I said God had done us favours and indeed He stood with us. I am very grateful,” he told Jubilee members of parliament.
Despite NASA contesting the victory in Supreme Court, Jubilee beat them in terms of representation both in Senate and National Assembly.
Already, Jubilee has fronted various people to house positions with National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi set to retain his seat.
