Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka has said that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto will beat former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga hands down with or without the support from the Kamba community.
The lawmaker opines that the duo will still clinch power even if the Kamba community decides to back National Super Alliance (NASA) in the fresh elections. He was speaking at Athi River hotel on Saturday.
“President Uhuru and Deputy President William Ruto won in the August 8 General Election and will will win again with or without the Kamba vote,” Munyaka said, as quoted by Star.
The lawmaker also said that Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka is not comfortable in the alliance saying that time has come for him to take another move.
“I’m sure Kalonzo is not comfortable in NASA because he knows they are deceiving him. Raila will still be the presidential candidate, if not, it will be Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo,” he said.
This after a section of Ukambani leaders pledged to drum up support for President Kenyatta as he seeks to beat Raila ahead of the fresh elections.
