Sirisia MP John Waluke has expressed confidence that the Jubilee party will garner majority of votes in Bungoma county in the upcoming August 8 polls
Speaking during a television interview, Waluke noted the ground in Western region particularly Bungoma county, has shifted from the opposition side to the president Uhuru Kenyatta-led government.
“When the former prime minster came to Bungoma is when I saw Nasa was in, on that day but when he left it died,'' said waluke, Wednesday.
“I believe it is Jubilee that is now dominating. There is no Nasa anywhere. Our senator (Moses Wetangula) is quiet, we don’t even see him. Nobody is campaigning for Nasa at this time. It is Jubilee that is moving on the ground,” he added.
According to the Sirisia legislator, Jubilee had brought a lot of developments in the region as compared to the the previous governments.
“Uhuru’s government has done a lot; you cannot even compare him with president Kibaki. Infrastructure has changed in Sirisia,” he noted
“So at the end of the day I believe we are going to deliver 65-70 per cent in Bungoma county to Jubilee.”
