ODM national treasurer Timothy Bosire says that President Uhuru Kenyatta will lose ‘badly’ in August polls due to his ‘dismal’ performance in the last four years.
The Kitutu Masaba MP further advises Kenyatta to withdraw from the race to avoid an ‘inevitable’ defeat.
In yet another jibe to the government, Bosire, a close ally of ODM leader Raila Odinga questioned continued hiking of prices of basic commodities.
“I do not see the reason why people should keep on cheating Uhuru that he will win. His lose is inevitable and I will be vindicated in August,” said Bosire.
He added: “The economy has sunk on his hands yet he keeps on accusing the opposition for nothing. Prices of basic goods are hiking in an exponential manner and ye the thinks he will win. We are not fools and August we shall send him home.”
Despite the criticism, Uhuru has kept mum over hiking prices of basic commodities, a move that has elicited sharp criticism on social media.
The first term MP will be defending his seat on an ODM ticket and will face a stiff challenge from Jubilee’s Shadrack Mose.
