Former powerful government minister Simion Nyachae has claimed President Uhuru Kenyatta won genuinely in the Thursday repeat polls and he expects IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati to declare him the legitimate president of Kenya.

Speaking at Nyaosi SDA Church during a church service on Saturday, Nyachae said there is need for Kenya to move forward as many businesses have been hurt due to the continuing politics in the country.

Nyachae who had been living a low key life since he lost in his presidential ambitions urged Raila to ensure that he retires from active politics and let the young lead Kenya.

"The results I have been seeing being streamed by IEBC is a clear indication that Uhuru Kenyatta is the legitimate president and let Raila join me in retire and let the country move on" said Nyachae

The former leader thanked the local residents who turned out in large numbers to cast their votes for Uhuru.

In Kisii county alone Uhuru managed to gunner a provisional results of 140,000.
