President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday left the country for South Africa.
President Kenyatta is expected to hold bilateral talks by his counterpart Jacob Zuma.
The meeting will take plaxe in Durban
According to State House Spokesman Manoah Esipisu, the talks will be centered on bilateral and pan-African issues.
The two leaders will also be looking to deepen bilateral cooperation in the areas of trade, security, and infrastructure development.
Esipisu added that Kenya and South Africa are key players in peace building on the African continent.
He said that the leaders will review progress in countries such as Somalia and South Sudan.
