President Uhuru Kenyatta's close associate Tony Gachoka now claims not everyone in Jubilee wants Deputy President William Ruto.
With Uhuru having secured a second term in office, all eyes are now in 2022, where Ruto has already been backed by his boss for the top seat.
In a Tweet directed at Raila Odinga over the controversial swearing-in, Gachoka claimed that Ruto could be deserted by a host of Jubilee leaders.
"Raila Odinga greetings from Diani. Baba let's move on. Suspension of swearing-in is a very good move," he said.
Gachuka further said: "Uhuru Kenyatta will soon complete his term and not everyone in Jubilee wants DP Ruto."
While cracks in such a huge coalition are inevitable, relationship between the two protagonists have however been smooth.
Before joining Kenyatta's camp, Gachoka was a close ally of Raila Odinga along with Nyeri Town MP Wambugu Ngunjiri.
