Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire claims that the recent outbursts by President Uhuru Kenyatta targeting judiciary are a sign of an impending defeat.
While in Baringo on Sunday, Uhuru accused courts for working in cohorts with opposition to frustrate electoral body IEBC.
“The president has now shown signs of desperation and is now threatening courts. This shows that he is not ready for elections,” said the ODM National treasurer.
He added: “He should leave the courts alone and prepare to face us head-on. It makes no sense when he goes around the country bashing independent institutions.”
Initially, High Court had ruled in favour of NASA by directing that constituency results to be upheld as final and lately, a three judge bench barred IEBC from printing presidential ballot papers.
According to the opposition, the company awarded the tender is closely linked to Kenyatta and they fear it could help Jubilee rig by printing excess papers.
Jubilee continued with its onslaught over the Judiciary for the better part of Monday even as CJ David Moraga defended the law enforcing body.
