Maalim says that Jubilee politicians hitting out at the Supreme Court are disrespecting the constitution that established the independent Judiciary.
In an interview with the Standard, Maalim criticized President Uhuru Kenyatta and his troops asking them to show respect to the Supreme Court judges.
"It is so bad and shameful to hear the president issue threats to Supreme Court judges and the larger independent Judiciary, this shows that he has no regard for the court," he said as quoted by the standard.
Maalim stated that the Supreme Court made its verdict to nullify Uhuru's re-election basing on evidence.
He asked Kenyans, the clergy and the international community to come to the rescue of the Supreme Court judges who he said are under intimidation.
Maalim asked Uhuru to respect the court verdict and prepare to face off with Raila Odinga in fresh presidential polls set for October 17 as announced by the IEBC.
