President Uhuru Kenyatta kept his changes to cabinet a top secret, at least with his DP William Ruto kept in darkness, reports the Sunday Nation.
Already, it has emerged that the DP was within the country further raising questions to his decision to skip the event.
With insiders claiming that even Ruto was kept in darkness, sources further say only two people were aware of the changes.
With former State House Comptroller Lawrence Lenayapa kept in darkness as well, it has emerged that NIS boss Philip Kameru was aware of the changes.
Further, influential brother to president, Muhoho Kenyatta, is also said to have been privy and could have played an important role in the new move.
Out of 19, Uhuru only retained six besides nominating three to his new cabinet, which is however said to be facing resistance from the country's second in command.
Despite minimal public appearances, Muhoho is said to be a key decision maker in Uhuru's government.
