The ruling was given pending determination of a case filed by Katiba Institute.

This is after the Unit failed to respond to queries on how much money was spent on the advertisement campaign.

The case was filed in line with the Right to Access to Information as provided forin Article 35 of the Constitution.

In April, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto  launched  https://www.delivery.go.ke/ website to help Kenyans track all development projects carried out by the regime in the last four years.

The portal relayed stories and facts about the progress of the Jubilee government and its achievements following criticismby the Opposition that President Kenyatta had not delivered on his promises.
