President Uhuru Kenyatta’s campaign team has pitched tent at Kitutu Chache South constituency ahead of November 7th elections.

IEBC postponed constituency elections in the region following the certain demise of Jubilee candidate Leonard Mwamba, who died weeks to elections.

Already, the team led by Kitutu Chache North MP Jimmy Angwenyi has organized several campaign rallies in support of Antony Kibagendi, the new flag bearer.

“We are hopeful that we shall win the seat in honor of Mwamba and Joel Onyancha. They were true soldiers of the party,” he said.

NASA on its part is fighting internal wrangles with outgoing MP Richard Onyonka of Ford Kenya facing rivalry from ODM’s Sam Omwando.

“There is nothing to worry as NASA. We are one team and there are a lot of issues we can do to retain the seat at all costs,” said Governor James Ongwae.

The campaign kicks off at the time Jubilee party is mourning the loss of immediate Bomachoge – Borabu MP Joel Onyancha, who died on Thursday.
