It is said that only a few supporters of the the current head of state gathered as the campaign team under the leadership of Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, Former Kibwezi Kalembe Ndile, Nominated MP Isaac Mwaura and Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama’s wife Agnes Kavindu tried to make their way into the county, which is considered National Super Alliance (NASA) stronghold as per Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka and his team.

The group against Jubilee’s caravan chanted songs in praise of the NASA under the leadership of Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga, who is seeking presidency for his fourth time after losing the past elections.

The agitate supporters verbally attacked the caravan to the point that the denied former Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya a chance to address the crowds.

In the meantime, leaders of both Jubilee and NASA have intensified their campaigns in different parts of the nation ahead of the August general elections.

Both president Uhuru Kenyatta and Cord leader Raila Odinga have assured their supporters that they will emerge winners when that time comes.
