President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election campaigns at the Coast have been hit with fresh wrangles.
This after Jubilee supporters in Kilifi demanded to be directly involved in campaigns for the repeat presidential election.
Led by chief campaigner Peter Ponda, the supporters said the previous team led by Gideon Mung'aro had failed.
"Those people who pretend to be political kingpins, they chest-thump [in the name of campaigning for] President Uhuru Kenyatta - we want them out. We can't be successful if they still take charge. I will not mention names," he said on Monday.
"These leaders go round hotels planning...without involving those in the grassroots."
He said they have set up structures in every polling station.
Ponda further urged President Uhuru and DP William Ruto to use their intelligence and get the truth on the situation on the ground.
"We are tired of doing a lot of work yet the credit goes to others," he said.
Ponda dismissed party agents who protested against not being paid, saying they were not genuine.
"We do not know who recruited them...they are hooligans who led to the losses. They should not talk on behalf of agents. The genuine agents are known and should not spoil the image of Jubilee party, They were planted by the opposition," he said.
On Sunday, Jubilee's campaign team in Ukambani came under scrutiny after a section of leaders disagreed on who should take the central role in the campaigns.
