The move by President Uhuru Kenyatta to create the position of the Chief Administrative Secretaries has attracted huge debate.

Legal and political minds have weighed in on the matter, saying that the move is a violation of the constitution.

''The positions that he has created are not anywhere in the constitution. He is giving those who have accused him of wanting to violate the constitution more ammunition,'' Herman Manyora, a renowned political analyst told the media today.

Others have said that the move is designed to reward political loyalists within Jubilee.

The new positions have resulted into a bloated cabinet that has many Kenyans deeply concerned.
