Nominated Senator Beth Muga has advised the opposition Orange Democratic Party to keep President Uhuru Kenyatta out the Tibim, Tialala slogan.
This is after a local artise released a remix of the popular Tibim song, praising President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga for settling differences.
Speaking during a church service in Runda on Sunday, Mugo said that the meaning of Tibim must be analyzed first.
"This Tibim...Tibim and tialala, we haven't been told what they mean. They should not introduce Uhuru to them. We know Uhuru prays to God," she said.
The church service was attended by Deputy President William Ruto, Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa.
Leaders who attended the service further called on DP Ruto to be keen ahead of his 2022 presidential bid.
They cleimed that the deal between Uhuru and Raila might be used to lock out Ruto.
