Renowned economist and Daily Nation columnist David Ndii has responded to why he declined President Uhuru Kenyatta's invite to State House summit on governance and accountability.
Ndii responded via his twitter account in a rather sarcastic and rude reply. Ndii took the time to defend himself and fellow activist John Githongo after Kenyatta criticised them for failing to attend the function and share their ideas on accountability while they roam around criticising the government.
“The #HyenaSummit ? I am a vegetarian.” Ndii posted on twitter.
Over the last three years, Ndii has been penning hard-hitting pieces that are highly critical of Jubilee government through his Daily Nation Saturday column.
The State House accountability Summit was held on Tuesday bringing together stakeholders from various sectors.
However, during an interview on KTN, Narok politician Olkina Lediama revealed that Githongo did not receive an invite to attend the summit.
