The officials allege that Uhuru’s government has been reluctant to fight graft which they said is ‘eating’ up the government.

Speaking to journalists in Nairobi on Tuesday, the party officials led by Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale accused the Jubilee government of allegedly condoning graft.

Khalwale alleged that Uhuru’s government is the most corrupt in the country’s history.

“President Uhuru’s government is the most corrupt regime in the country history and he must take stern action on the people swindling public money,” he said.

The vocal Kakamega senator claimed that Uhuru’s government is thriving ion graft.

Speaking at the briefing Kimini MP Chris Wamalwa said that Kenyans are concerned with rampant graft in government.

He said that Jubilee government has not shown any effort to tame corruption.

“The president needs to put his act together and crack the whip on people looting public money,” said the Kiminini MP.

Mr Wamalwa further accused government agencies mandated to fight corruption of allegedly ‘sleeping’ on their jobs.

He claimed that some of the corruption cases have taken years to be resolved.

The Ford Kenya officials said that they will continue to pressure the Jubilee government to crack whip on graft suspects.

President Kenyatta’s government has been on the spot over alleged massive graft.

The recent alleged Sh5 Billion scam at Afya House has exposed the Jubilee government alleged ineffectiveness to fight graft with a section of opposition leaders asking the President to resign.

The Uhuru government has however defended itself against the claims accusing the opposition using corruption to gain political mileage ahead of the 2017 general elections.
