As chief opposition leader Raila Odinga’s statements on Twitter continues to yield various reactions, Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has hit back on the NASA leader after making his statement condemning Cabinet Secretary of Interior Dr. Fred Matiang’i.
Through his Twitter account on Wednesday, the renowned lawyer said that the statement made by the NASA leader are political that can be bewitching and bewildering.
“Some political statements like the one made today by Hon. Raila can be both bewitching and bewildering!” twitted lawyer Ahmednasir.
The Nasa leader has condemned CS Matiang’i for reckless statements against the Judiciary claiming that the statements exhibits impunity.
Raila also added that it was very agitative for Dr. Fred Matiang’i to make harsh attacks on the Judiciary live in national television.
“I was therefore very distraught to see our cabinet secretary of Interior Dr. Fred Matiang’i, live in national television making virulent attacks on the Judiciary and on specific members of the bench. Using language that should not be on the lips of a state officer,” said Mr. Odinga.
Mr. Odinga had also said that Matiang’i should not treat Kenyans to the drama that he played out on Monday before the National assembly adding that Kenyans have just come from longest and most grammatic political periods.
