Renowned lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi has rubbished the statement given by National Super Alliance (NASA) concerning Kalonzo Musyoka's absence during the opposition's swearing-in.
According to Abdullahi, the coalition leaders are too weak politically and so cannot tell one another of the mistrust amongst themselves.
In his view, the NASA coalition's time is up and all the principals should 'call it a day' concerning their political marriage.
"Look at the political immorality of Kenyan politics...they don't trust one another...lie to each other..but they are all too weak politically to tell the truth to one another & call NASA a day," tweeted Abdullahi on Friday.
The lawyer further feels there are too many stories as to why the other co-principals skipped the controversial event.
*...and on 30th...Raila called...waited for them...sent a few to look for them. On 31st they said they were detained at their homes. On 1st...we planned to skip...," added Abdullahi.
On Thursday however, NASA leaders gave a press briefing and clarified that the coalition is united as ever before.
In the presser, Kalonzo divulged that the coalition came up with a 'grand plan' of him (Kalonzo) skipping the event which was held at Uhuru Park on January 30.
"The decision was made at Machakos during the People’s Assembly launch two weeks ago when our brother Raila told us: ‘We all know what you are dealing with, what you are going through, and even the threat to your personal and family safety. You are my deputy, but I want to swear in before you.’ That was the tactical decision,” said Mr Musyoka as quoted by the Daily Nation.
However, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang'ula have continued to receive criticisms for failing to turn up for the event with some people tagging them as 'betrayers' to NASA's course.
