Flamboyant city lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi has thrown a shade at Opposition coalition NASA leaders ahead of President Uhuru Kenyatta's swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday.
In a tweet posted on his page on Monday, Ahmednassir challenged the Opposition leaders to accept poll defeat and assume their role as the government's watchdog.
"Tomorrow Kenyans will witness the historic inauguration of HE @UKenyatta & Hon@WilliamsRuto for a 2nd term of five years. NASA will from tomorrow start playing the role of effective opposition together with gallant Kenyans like Dr @EAukot & Mwalimu Dida...one country one nation!," he opined.
The lawyer represented President Kenyatta at the Supreme Court during the presidential petition challenging Uhuru's reelection victory.
In its ruling on Monday last week, the apex court upheld Uhuru's reelection, stating that the Jubilee Party leader was validly reelected during the October 26 presidential repeat polls boycotted by the Opposition.
