Lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi may have after all known long before that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s election will be nullified by Supreme Court despite appearing for him.
The renowned tough city lawyer was among the strong legal team presenting Uhuru in a petition challenging his reelection by Raila Odinga.
But tweets accessed from his official Twitter account shows his prediction on the 2017 petition long before elections were held.
“My free advice to CORD and Jubilee is if technology fails again in 2017 elections like in 2013, Supreme Court will invalidate elections,” says the tweet.
In another tweet he further says: “Take it from me, Pakistan Supreme Court decision to remove PM Shariff will soon be replicated in Nairobi. Thieving politicians be aware.”
In their ruling, majority judges declared presidential elections null and void arguing that IEBC breached various elections laws and the constitution in terms of results transmission.
Ahmednassir has been having a difficult year and the loss in Supreme Court may have as well ended his rather impeccable legal career according to lawyer Nelson Havi.
