Just hours after organising a prayer rally in Nakuru county, President Uhuru Kenyatta has left a special message to NASA leader Raila Odinga and the NASA supporters.
In an exclusive interview with Citizen TV, on Sunday, Uhuru spoke of how they have ensured the nation is well prepared for the October 26, repeat poll.
He also assured the pessimistic citizen that security is intact and that poll body IEBC has been adequately funded to ensure the exercise runs smoothly.
"Kenyans have nothing to fear we have enough security agencies deployed to ensure everyone is safe so there is no reason to fear," said Uhuru.
"We have also ensured the IEBC is properly funded to give ready and prepared polls," he added.
Uhuru also left a message to both NASA leadership and their supporters who have insisted that they will not be party to the repeat polls set for Thursday.
"We have told NASA that they have every right not to participate if they so choose but they should not interfere with those who exercise theirright to vote," he said.
"They should remember in as much as they have the right to boycott the polls, those taking part also have the right to do so," he added.
