Politicians who hail from Mt Kenya region and lost in the Jubilee Party nominations now want President Uhuru Kenyatta to find them a position in his government.

President Uhuru Kenyatta had promised during his campaigns that Jubilee nomination losers would be included in his second-term government.

Mt Kenya politicians now want the president to honor that promise that he made to them.

Some of the politicians are Priscilla Nyokabi, Jamleck Kamau, Florence Kajuju, Peter Munya, and Njogui Barua among many others.

It is this promise that made them swallow their loss and not go the independent route.

For them, now is the time for the president to express his gratitude by giving them jobs.

In Tharaka Nithi and Meru, Jubilee supporters have been addressing press conference after press conference vouching for the re-appointment of Prof. Kaimenyi.

It will be interesting to see how the newly-re-elected president will navigate those mounting pressures.
