A section of Kisii community members in Kwale have vowed to withdraw their support from President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto over the remarks he made about Chief Justice David Maraga. Led by Richard Onsongo, a politician, members of the community said they will rally behind the opposition in the repeat presidential election.Addressing journalists on Monday in Diani, Onsongo said the move was ill advised, adding that the community will instead back NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga the Star reports.Members of the community in Nyamira and Kisii counties also hit out at the President for attacking one of their sons.This comes after Uhuru referred to the Supreme Court Judges as 'wakora' (thugs) after they nullified his re-election on Friday and ordered for fresh polls.NASA leader Raila Odinga and other leaders in the opposition have also criticised Uhuru, saying he should respect the Judiciary."After the ruling Uhuru went and drank alcohol, came out red-eyed and started abusing the Supreme Court. We warn you Uhuru, stop abusing the Supreme Court," said Raila during a NASA rally in Nyamira.
