Kilifi Jubilee leaders have unveiled a new tactic to deliver more votes of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto ahead of the fresh elections.

In the new tactic, the leaders have hatched a plot to reach out to other parties including those affiliated with NASA to back the re-election of the duo.

According to Esther Kache, who unsuccessfully contested for the Kilifi North seat, they are targeting Wiper, Shirikisho, Kanu, Labour Party and Maendeleo Chap Chap politicians as Uhuru seeks to retain power following the nullification of his August 8, win.

Led by Former Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung’aro, the politicians have vowed to camp in different parts of the county to ensure Raila does not beat Uhuru. This is after Raila Odinga garnered 273,852 votes against Uhuru’s 49,693 in Kilifi County during the August polls.

Speaking to the press at Silver Palm Beach Resort in Kilifi, Mung’aro said that they have meet leaders of these parties in an attempt to woo them to back Jubilee presidential candidate when that time comes.

“We have been holding meetings with different parties to ensure Uhuru is reelected,” Mung'aro said, as quoted by Star.

Kache also said that the leaders will be expected to conduct door to door campaigns as opposed to meetings in the hotel.  She also lamented that the Kilifi county results were doctored since some of the papers lacked the necessary features.
