[Photo|Twitter]President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party campaigns in Mandera turned chaotic early Saturday, as he addressed hundreds of supporters.This is after supporters of rival gubernatorial candidates for Mandera, clashed, each cheering support slogans of their leaders.The supporters were of the Economic Freedom Party (EFP) leader Hassan Noor Hassan who supports President Kenyatta's re-election bid, and those of incumbent governor Ali Roba who is vying on a Jubilee Party ticket.Their rivals hurled stones and other weapons at the Moi stadium ahead of the rally, with some getting injured.They also continued jeering and shouting "Ali Roba!" "Hassan Noor!" respectively even as the president addressed them."You're both mine! Do not clash or fight because of leaders. I want you to stay in peace and go to election in peace," Uhuru told the supporters, and asked them to calm down, Saturday.Also present was deputy president William Ruto, who asked them to stay in peace and avoid violence.Earlier, police shot in the air to disperse the crowd.
