President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election bid received a massive boost on Friday following a Kenya endorsement.

A network of Ukambani residents has declared support for Kenyatta promising to deliver 300, 000 votes to Uhuru.

The Nairobi Akamba Network Forum, with a membership of 3,000, vowed to ensure that majority of the 300,000 members vote for Uhuru.

According to Secretary General Jonathan Musau, the president has appointed members of the community to some of the key government positions.

He said they want to avoid a replica of what happened in 2013 where the community voted for Sonko as the Nairobi senator but cast their presidential votes for Raila Odinga.

He added that already, there are five coordinators in each of the Nairobi's 85 wards and 17 sub-counties.

The coordinators will be tasked with driving Jubilee agenda in Nairobi.

"We intend to deliver every Kamba vote in Nairobi to Jubilee government and to governor candidate Mike Sonko."

"We don't need much resources to do that. We are sure that 90 per cent of Kambas in Nairobi will vote for Sonko," Musau said.
