Nominated MP Johnson Sakaja has rubbished claims by the opposition that its has enough numbers to send President Uhuru Kenyatta during the August polls.

According to Sakaja, Jubilee will win the August polls in round one.

“It is laughable to hear the opposition claim that it has the numbers to defeat Uhuru in August,” he said during an interview on Citizen TV on Sunday.

Sakaja stated that Uhuru’s re-election in August is a done deal.

The nominated MP added that Jubilee numbers are intact ahead of the August polls.

“From the statistics we have, the opposition is not closer to matching our numbers in terms of votes as it claims,” he said.

Sakaja said that President Kenyatta’s Jubilee government is still popular and that Kenyans will vote it back in August.

The opposition under the National Super Alliance (NASA) has severally claimed that it has the numbers needed to send Uhuru packing in August.

Speaking in Turkana on Sunday, ODM leader Raila Odinga said that time is up for Jubilee government.
