Kwale Women Representative Zainab Chidzuga has predicted an early and massive win for President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8 polls.
Chidzuga said Uhuru will be re-elected with over 80 per cent votes as Kenyans have confidence in the Jubilee administration.Addressing supporters in Kwale Town, the Women Rep said Uhuru’s development agenda especially on infrastructure will guarantee him an early win come August.The MP said the infrastructural development realized by Jubilee is a game changer in the country’s economic development.“Uhuru’s re-election is a done deal because of the development agenda his government has realized in the last four years,” said Chidzuga, as quoted by the Standard.The MP lashed out at NASA leaders for criticizing the recently launched Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), saying the opposition leaders are envious. “These (NASA) are the people who served in government for decades and did nothing for Kenyans but they are now feeling jealous of Uhuru’s development agenda,” she said.Chidzuga said the opposition has nothing to offer Kenyans apart from empty rhetoric, and urged the mwananchi to vote for leaders basing on their development track record and not their parties or alliances.Chidzuga stated that Kenya needs development oriented leaders to achieve her social, economic and political development agenda.The Kwale Women Rep also asked Kenyans to ignore politicians who spew propaganda and divisive politics in their campaigns.
