Head of State President Uhuru Kenyatta has refused to lose sleep over comments made by Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.
Kenyatta believes that the comments made by the Mombasa governor are just a way for him to seek fame and claims Joho has nothing better to do.
"Tell him I will not lose sleep. Let him insult me from morning to evening. I have work to do," Uhuru said as reported by The Star.
The president further stated that the governor should instead work on renovations in his county and making sure they have clean accessible water.
"Let him clean this town. Let him seek fame by doing work that will help improve the lives of Mombasa residents," the president said.Ahead of the elections President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged locals in Mombasa to vote for leaders who can add value to their lives.
