The son of the head state was among the leaders who attended a retreat to the Great Rift Lodge in Naivasha as Jubilee puts in place measures to ensure that Uhuru retains power.
A source close to the president revealed that they meeting involved how to mobilize the electorate to turn out in large numbers to vote for the president, who has assured Kenyans that he will initiate more projects if given another term in office alongside his deputy William Ruto.
Jomo joined his younger brother Muhoho and his uncle during the meeting.
"They are discussing how to mobilise supporters to ensure a high turnout, especially among the youthful voters," a source disclosed, as Kenyans.co.ke reported. The active involvement of Jomo in his father’s campaign is likely to hint that he wants to join the arena after keeping away for years.
Jomo hit the headlines when he tied the knot with his girlfriend Achola Ngobi. As usual, Kenyans are already talking after the son of the president made an appearance with other leaders during the retreat. The entry of Jomo into politics comes after Kalonzo’s son was blocked from joining the East African Legislative Council.
