A pro-Jubilee supporter was on Saturday forcefully evicted from a Keroka bound Matatu by angry opposition supporters when he tried to propagate government agenda to them.

The incident, which barely came a day before rowdy Jubilee youths almost, disrupted an opposition rally at Kapsabet raises questions with regard to political tolerance from either side of political divide.

With only two months to elections, both Jubilee and NASA have launched heated campaigns in the vote rich Gusii region with President Uhuru Kenyatta expected to tour on Tuesday.

Trouble began when the Jubilee supporter identified as Moses claimed that Jubilee will beat NASA in August polls either through fair or unorthodox means.

And a section of supporters allied to opposition ordered the driver to stop the Matatu before they evicted him and subsequently reimbursing him fare.

“The cost of living is quite high and someone is trying to popularize the government,” roared Kevin Ogamba after a successful ‘mission’.

“We better vote Raila Odinga and see what he can do other than these people who are looting right left and centre,” added another passenger identified as Mama Christine.

In April, a section of angry NASA supporters blocked a section of President Kenyatta’s motorcade when he toured the region before setting ablaze Jubilee T-Shirts.

And in a replica on the same event, Jubilee supporters burnt ODM T-shirts when Odinga toured the region a fortnight ago.
