T-Shirts suspected to be those of Jubilee party were on Monday burnt in the outskirts of Kisii town moments after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s tour.

Earlier, opposition leader Raila Odinga had suspended his tour following inability of his team to secure Gusii stadium for a grand rally.

After Uhuru’s tour, angry NASA supporters thronged to the outskirts of town in Jogoo suburbs where they burnt Jubilee campaign materials.

For at least an hour, Police engaged youths in running battles as anti-Jubilee slogans dominated in the most of Monday evening.

At Gusii stadium, Uhuru assured his supporters that his regime will ensure more inclusivity with Gusii community put at pole position for a number of seats.

Currently, Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i is the senior most employees in Uhuru Kenyatta’s government.

In 2013 elections, Odinga scoped over 70 percent of Gusii votes with Uhuru managing an insignificant 26 percent cumulatively.
