With Jubilee facing hostility from Nyamira over limited appointments, the clever move to back a NASA candidate has been hailed by many even with possible split effect on NASA.

"Momanyi is not a busybody. He is an elected MP and qualifies to sit in the committee," said Aden Duale, as he made intentions by Jubilee to crumble NASA known.

Despite NASA's plot to lock out Momanyi, the second term Wiper MP quickly got a backing from within his party ranks and invited Jubilee controlled house for his rescue.

South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro, on Wednesday insisted that the decision by Raila to oppose Momanyi's name was detrimental to his Gusii support base.

"When NASA fights a candidate from a region that has supported Raila for long the Jubilee comes to rescue, you of course expect Uhuru to get credit," he said.

Speaker Justine Muturi ordered ODM to present two names, one from either house, a move that will either lock out Gladys Wanga or Aisha Jumwa.

At his Nyamira house, supporters of NASA have welcomed Jubilee's support to Momanyi with some condemning Raila for alleged discrimination.
